Workshop E: Healing Art: Creativity and BereavementIn the same way a home funeral honors the tactile aspect of human relationship, the healing art of creative bereavement focuses us again in the tactile world. Touch connects us with life even when we are immersed in grieving. In this hands-on workshop we'll have creative materials out on the table for our hands to explore and along the way we'll weave in a deeper conversation about why human beings find creative and expressive arts so healing in bereavement. We'll cover the potential for healing through legacy projects as well as creative ideas for memory-boxes and pet bereavement. Participants will take home anything they make during the workshop as well as a wealth of ideas and encouragement.
