NHFA Directory

Easily Locate Guides, Educators, & More

You do not have to hire any kind of professional to do your own home funeral, and our goal as an organization is to provide anyone who wants them with the resources to be able to do this on your own. However, if you do want to hire someone to help you, our directories allow you to locate guides, teachers, funeral directors, and more. You can search using keywords, or using the dropdown menus to filter by location, or by need, and the directory listings below will automatically update to present your results. Click on any listing below to see contact information and more detailed information.

NOTE: The NHFA does not vet or endorse individuals listed in our directory, nor does the organization substantiate claims of training or certification of directory members. Further, the NHFA as an organization believes that certification and proficiency badges can create barriers surrounding care of the dead. Read more about why we stopped offering a proficiency badge here.
